Second Annual Dinner Auction in Support of a Medical Clinic in Saltadere, Haiti,

You are invited to attend the Auction/Dinner to benefit the renovation of a medical clinic in Saltadere Haiti. This event, a project of the Haiti Ministry of St. Thomas Aquinas and Holy Comforter parishes, will feature a silent and a live auction and a chance to meet Father Eulorge Petina, new pastor of St. Michel. The dinner is catered by Travinia. The date is Saturday, December 5 at 6:30PM. Location: St. Thomas Hall at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. There is no charge for dinner and babysitting will be available. As you may already know, one of our latest projects in Haiti involves the renovation of a building in Saltadere to make into a functional medical clinic. Last year, we had a fundraising dinner in December that raised over $50,000. Our goal is to raise another $60,000 in order to renovate the building as well to bring a Haitian nurse, physician and midwife to Saltadere.
In order to do this, we are planning another fundraising dinner, but this time, we will also have a silent and live auction. This will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 6:30 pm. The food will be catered by Travinia Restaurant. Cardinal Point Vineyard is providing the wine. Please mark that date if you are interested in coming.
We already have some fun items that have been donated towards the auction. Howie Long will be donating an autographed helmet from himself and his two sons, Chris and Kyle. He also will be giving us a football signed by the FOX Sports guys. We may also be getting autographed basketballs from Tony Bennett and Joanne Boyle, men’s and women’s basketball tickets, Tyler Wilson (UVA, Baltimore Orioles) autographed baseball, a Thomas Marsh sculpture, timeshare at Cape Cod for a week, Wintergreen lift tickets, 1 year gym membership at Atlantic Sports & Rehab, gift certificates from many restaurants including Fleurie, Rock Salt, Melting Pot, Hamiltons, Commonwealth Sky Bar and many more.
